Great Tyne Row 2022 - start order and times

This year we start bang on high tide (though a very modest one) at 12 noon with 'wave' no 1 of four boats. Three further 'waves' follow, at 12:15, 12:30 and 12:45. There are 19 starters in all. The start order with a list of boats and their start times is here.

Times for boats passing the 5km marks (including the central Quayside at 10km) are in a document here. It shows the likely times of the first and last boat passing each point, based on past performances. We expect finishes from about 14:00 on the river opposite North Shields Fish Quay.
